(b) The purposes for which a county jail industries program may be established are to: (1) provide adequate, regular, and suitable employment for the vocational training of inmates; (2) reimburse the county for expenses caused by the crimes of inmates and the cost of their confinement; or. (3) "Director" means a member of the board. (a) To provide for the public safety, the commissioners court of a county by order may adopt a curfew to regulate the movements or actions of persons under 17 years of age during the period beginning one-half hour after sunset and extending until one-half hour before sunrise or during school hours, or both.
